‘Southland’ Cancelled — TNT - TVLine

TNT is pulling Southland off the streets, canceling the acclaimed drama after five seasons (four on TNT, one on NBC).

In a statement, the network called the decision to ax the series a “difficult” one, adding, “We are enormously proud of Southland, which stands as one of the best police dramas ever made.

Sad in a way to see it go, but it lasted WAY longer then anyone expected, and it had a right to, given it's ratings. Satisfied with the finale, dignified, restrained, and brutal.

I'm sad that it's gone, but I'm at peace. I watched the final two episodes on Thursday, and it was some of the best television I've seen this year.
