At last, Ford revealed the official numbers delivered by the engines used on the 2015 Mustang. As a result, we found out that the 5.0-liter V8 engine generates 435 hp and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) of torque, which makes the 2015 Mustang GT more powerful than its rivals, the Chevrolet Camaro SS and Dodge Challenger.
Meanwhile, the 3.7-liter V6 engine was rated at 300 hp and 280 lb-ft (406 Nm) of torque. What’s interesting is that the V6 engine is actually less powerful than the version that powers the 2014 Mustang, which delivers 305 hp.
