shyt is obvious pandering towards the female markets man... the reason why Wonder Woman worked for DC is because Gal Gadot is gorgeous (not enough ass IMO) but still a dime, actually looks the part of Wonder Woman and they did not PANDER just to females...

This chick in Captain Marvel physically looks nothing like carol and is kinda boring. She doesn't even look like she's having fun and comes across monotone in her delivery...

Plus Samuel L Jackson is featured so heavily in the trailers they may as well change the name to Captain Marvel & The origin of Nick Fury.
This isn't a Kathleen Kennedy Situation where they deliberately sideline long established male characters in order to give more spotlight to the females.
Literally Killed off Ackbar virtually offscreen in order to have his second in command do a noble suicide run minutes later.
The falcon becoming her ship after Han dies even though Chewie is still alive, and he becomes her co-pilot?

The MCU would have to kill off Captain America, and have Agent 13 take on his mantle while Falcon becomes her sidekick to reach that level pandering.
