How did you like the movie if you werent a fan of the action? 40% of the movie was corny teeny bopper shyt with the cringe turned up to 10.

Movie works better as a comedy than an action film.

I liked the Mysterio scenes after the reveal but the action scenes before that with the elements were just boring especially knowing they ain't real. I just wanted those scenes to end. The climax was decent but fighting an army of drones was kind of boring too but a marvel cliche by now.

I don't really see this as a super hero film just more of a coming of age teen movie. And it worked in that area more than a spideman movie in a lot of ways.

Really surprised by this. I thought it was amazing and even though I loved how they did vulture more, mysterio was definitely on his A game. Very teeny bopper movie but that's what this version of spidey is and honestly one i think a lot of people wanted for a while.

Went back and watched SM1 again and the story is so much better than HC and FFM. Still haven't had that great story in either MCU SM movie, but the visuals have been great. I like the special effects and illusions from Mysterio, but the movie overall is still too kiddish for me. SM2 is still my favorite, followed by SM1 then FFM.

Today was my birthday and so I went to see Far From Home. It was great and a slightly better movie than I expected.

I can't wait for Phase 4 and the sequel to Far From Home. It's gonna be really dope .

How does that make me a fan boy?

Because its an action film and a comic book film before its a "coming of age teen comedy".. So for you to pretty much trash it based on everything that would make it good comic book movie,but still applaud it because you simply can't just say its a bad Spiderman movie?very "fanboy" like. I guess we have to compare this to The Wonder Years instead of great comic book movies:respect:

Might be the best spidey movie. Holland really owning the spidey role.Def better than Homecoming

Thought the fight scene with mysterio was one of the best scenes in any MCU. My girl was shook like we was watching a scary movie. It was thrilling tho. I’d watch it again just for that scene. Visually amazing. Spidey sense fight scene was Vader like in Rogue One. Great final battle scene

They really did well with Mysterio and his back story and explaining his powers. Gyellenhal killed it.

It's dark and takes place at night and in the rain a lot. So it is like a bad ass story man. Plus Spiderman is buried alive. lol
Seriously tho, I really liked it at the time because it was just very different from your avg. Spidey story. But I agree, it would be dumb to do in Kraven's first appearance on screen. He did what he did because of years of frustration of being defeated by Spiderman. Doing it right away it would lose that.

We haven't even been introduced to MCU Symbiote Spidey yet too
