they couldve mentioned Uncle Ben though,it was a nice change to not have Uncle Ben be the primary motivation in the first movie though....but maybe they needed it,because I wasnt really feeling his motivation without the Uncle Ben shyt in this movie

I've always held the idea that every Spider-Man/Batman/Superman movie is somebodies first...

I've never been against origin movies but I've always never felt they HAVE to do origin stories for every character.

I'm fine with them only alluding to Ben because they clearly didn't want this being as dark or morose as previous films (especially the Amazing films). They did everything they could to make this movie feel fresh and glossing over the Origin and Uncle Ben stuff was part of that.

I can't believe there are people complaining about there not being an origin in this movie. For the past decade all I've seen is people bytch and moan about being sick of origin stories.

"Everybody already knows Spider-Man/Batman/Superman's origin story, we don't need to see it again".

And now some of those same people are crying about this movie not showing the origin or mentioning Uncle Ben. shyt like this is why some people hate critics and comic book fanboys....



I was just reading this the other day. It was during the "Big Time" period.

I swear most of the stuff after One more Day is REALLY good, but nobody wanted to give it a chance because of how terrible OMD ended up being.

His Spider-Sense is unreliable in the comics and previous films too.

Think about it, if that shyt worked the way it's supposed to the vast majority of his villains would never lay a fukking finger on him.

True,but the way he moved with agility to avoid attacks in the other films,its implied that its strong,even though we suspend belief in other scenarios.....not to mention doesnt Iron Mans suit warm him of attacks?did his spider sense ever work in this movie when he didnt have the Tony Stark suit on?

its a fair complaint,Marvel was supposed to give us Spiderman in a way we've never seen him since its Marvel,thats all i kept hearing...."Bu bu but Marvel will finally get it right yall"....but as far as Spiderman they basically took a bunch of shyt away so far,he's underpowered,apparently hasnt grown into all of his powers or how to use em..

we dont want a journey,skip to the part where he can do more shyt with his powers than he did in the last 5 movies

Na.... I dont really see how MOS stole Spidermans origins. I may need you to explain breh.

I mean its not like how Batman Returns stole Dr. Strange origin, like literally with the writer for BR years prior was gonna be the director and writer for an earlier version of DS, that ultimately fell through. So when he got signed on to work on BR later, he pretty much used the same script and re-purposed it to fit and create a batman movie.

As his trilogy progresses it will be more prominent they also said they wldnt highlight when he uses it like the last films, no slow mo or nun of dat it will be a natural thing to him. Civil war: ant man on the shield, Bucky throwing that object. Homecoming: iron man robber trying to sucker punch him after he throws Thor robber, shocker 2 trying to sneak him on the boat, the three thugs trynna grab guns on the boat when his back was turned and he say "no you dnt" and throws them, etc. how hard is this shyt to understand
