Five more episodes left. I'm trying to figure out what's up with the pacing. I'm not trying to say that it's underwhelming, but given the episode run, there's no time to waste.

I liked this episode. They’re setting up the last 5 eps to be Siege of Mandalore which will be dope.

Not really considering she was never mentioned in the OG trilogy...

I trust Filoni and Favreau though, they clearly know what they're doing...

Why would she be mentioned? There was no focus on any characters that knew here really. Obi Wan, Vader, Yoda all had bigger fish to fry than mentioning some padawan that left the order before shyt really hit the fan. Writing in her story should be relatively easy, just as they did Maul in Rebels.

This is what happens when you can’t binge. This first 6 seasons had tons of boring and filler episodes. I remember 3 episodes in a row about R2d2, jar jar binks and Padme also had boring episodes centered around them

Yep. These first two arcs were probably just regular stories that were originally meant to be filler stories in a season. They had most of these arcs already animated, so it was easy to just include them cheaply. The rough cuts of these stories have been online for years. The Seige of Mandalore is the reason they brought it back. I expect it to be dope as shyt and no one will bytch much about these first two arcs that were just fillers.

You talk about bytching then pull the probables out of your ass. The Martez sisters weren't even part of the original outlook for Season 7. Ahsoka was supposed to have a love interest. They scrapped that arc for two sisters. The Bad Batch could have been wrapped up in three episodes. It's ok to say that this season hasn't lived up to the expectations. They had plenty to draw from even if they went and grabbed the episodes that were made into comics and novels.

Episode 9 is easily the best of the season, and probably one of the best in the series overall So many gripes I had with the previous episodes are nowhere to be seen in 9, they really coming correct with the Siege of Mandalore arc
