Went ahead and got the Rog Ally. I like the ergonomics better, and of course the Z1 extreme made the purchase worth it. But, I do miss steamOS and hope it’s ported to the Ally soon.

I already got a ps5 I don't touch, a psvr 2 I used twice, a ocoulus 2, a pc with a top end video card I never use for games and a steam deck.

Don't bother with the SD slot...just don't do it.

I agree with this. Just buy a 1 TB SSD. I have not seen any proof, but one Redditor is claiming newly manufactured Allys now have thermal shielding over the SD Card reader. If true (I've yet to see proof of this), then I'd say go buy a 1TB SD Card.

Should have waited for the Lenovo Legion Go. It comes out at the end of this month.

Honestly outside the sd card failure i love this device. Get a 2tb ssd and u straight.

This device has ran everything i through at it since launch day.

I bought the Asus Rog Ally used in excellent in box condition from Best Buy and uhhh this jawn shyts on the Steam Deck.

The only negative is that it's Window 11 not seamless like Steam OS.


Steam has to release a new updated version soon because they are getting left behind feature and power wise.
