Woke up and saw this on my phone and i was hopeful for a second they were going to knock it down from 10 years

Maybe he's holding it back to keep progressive support for the two infrastructure bills. If it looks like they are unhappy with whatever number Manchin comes up with, he can use that to keep them happy, or he might be saving it for closer to the midterms to help House and Senate Dems

He probably won't even be alive 10 years from now, so what does he care what affect the cancellation of student debt will have on America, but he could be simply remembered as a GOAT for the cancelation of student debt.
