Nah, they'll run with a talking point that cancelling student loans is socialism, taxes gonna go up, public is gonna pay for it, etc. Im fine with another extension until after the election.
Biden needs to stop dragging his feet on this. It's less than 2 weeks until the deadline.
Also, it would be an insanely stupid move politically to restart student loan repayments 2 months before the midterms. I would be stunned if he didn't extend the pause.
