Biden isn’t a goat. He’s a decent president. A goat is proactive. What you’re witnessing is the party and country have shifted. He is responding to his constituents. “Don’t ask me, make me.” - Obama. You’re making the mistake of thanking the guy on top exclusively for the work people did on the ground. Do you know how much work went into this? How much advocacy? Schumer and Warren deserve their flowers. Biden is more progressive than any president since Johnson probably and he also has the most progressive Democratic Party in a long time. Give your generation some credit. They called us crazy for 6 years for pushing for this. Literally every single progressive thing Biden has done is shyt a lot of you guys and his supporters in the primary told us was unrealistic for the better part of a decade. It’s kind of remarkable to watch. But I don’t care. I’m happy for everybody this helps.
