The thing about Gerri telling Rome that is, why didnt you tell Rome that the other episode where he fired you? All he wanted was for you to believe in him and she went about it the worst way and decided to take shots instead.

I don't see the parallels between Avon and stringer other than the balcony itself.

That shyt was the Tony / Carmella argument from Pine Berrens..where they at this point absolutely resent each other, and what they've made each other become. It's the highest tier of loathing someone you love. Really insidious. And at some point you say it all. I've had that moment and it's the only argument I've ever really had with my girl.

No Logan and his brother grew up poor. I think people forgot that. They got sent to Canada to live with an uncle who made billboards. He came up from there but he was poor. The kids would be the first ones to be considered "old money", not Logan or his brother. The Pierces look down on all of them but they respect Logan because he doesnt just have money, he is powerful. The Pierces have money but they dont have Logan's power. Thats more about fear than anything. In the end, Logan had enough money to simply buy Pierce so his wealth exceeds theirs but they are generationally wealthy.

Billionaires who came up from poverty are always the most dangerous because they have that dog in them that can only come from not knowing if you were gonna have dinner every night as a kid. Plus they understand people on a human level a lot better than some sheltered nepo baby that spent all their lives in gated communities and private schools...which means they're much better at breaking and manipulating folks.

That's why Vince McMahon is such a great parallel. Yeah technically he was nepotism but he grew up broke in a trailer park getting getting beat up by his step pops, never even met his father until he was a teenager.
