Roman summed it up perfectly at the end. They’re all bullshyt. The ending was a big fukk you to all the fans who were team this person or team that person like it was Game of Thrones or something lol. People mad that Kendall didn’t get it when he showed you exactly why it shouldn’t be him when he threw a literal temper tantrum and had a breakdown in front of everyone

They’re not serious people and the ending reflected it. They’re all emotionally unintelligent fukk ups who make business moves out of spite, pettiness and the need to gain their father’s respect. Roman is the only one with any kind of self awareness while Kendall and Shiv deluded themselves into thinking they were just practicing good business.

It’s not quite as polarizing but I think the ending will age similarly to the Sopranos finale where plenty of people will hate it but then after rewatched and reflections realize it was the best way they could’ve ended it

The most memorable line of this season came to fruition.

Logan telling the kids they aren’t “Serious People” is the realest shyt he ever wrote

Great Finale, enjoyed it all from Shiv’s cockiness at the beginning, to the kids bonding at their moms, the convo between Mattison and Tom. Greg flying a lil too close to the sun, wish he held that info a little longer, but glad he fought back against Tom in the bathroom lol. First I thought Tom telling Shiv it was him was a mistake but it turned out to work in favor. I suppose Tom “won” but he is basically a puppet moreso than having real power. Lukas was the real winner.

The irony is that the kids made more money with this deal than they’ve probably ever had but all seem pretty miserable at the end. They just all wanted to be their pops but it was clear that they just weren’t meant for that spot. Great show, Great Finale

greg simply telling them shiv was gonna get screwed was more than enough…if he hadn’t done that, the “yes” vote would’ve gone thru a lot easier with shiv getting stabbed in the back (pun intended) after it went thru…it worked out the same way anyway…only difference is shiv accepted it

But from Greg’s POV, all he knew was Matson was going to snake Shiv and he had no idea what that meant for any of them. He coulda been lying to Tom too. He made a good play.
