Really glad in this day and age I was able to watch that episode live and unspoiled so I went thru the same disbelief as everyone else tonight.

This was supposed to be how Season 1 kicked off right? Good thing they did it here. Means so much more coming out of left field like this knowing the dynamics of these relationships now.

Going to feel like a completely different show the rest of the way

to the writers/showrunners for throwing that curve in episode 3 and not waiting until the finale or damn near it. We'll see if it pays off

I'm still amazed they were able to 'hide' this.
I never even heard any rumors that something like this would happen at the START of the season.

For a few seconds I was like 'You can't fool me...they're not even showing the body!'
But the look on Tom's face gave it away.

Man that was some good fukking TV. The is he/is he not was extremely well done. You're trying to look past Tom to see what is happening in the background. They never show Logan's face once. The stoic look from Frank/Karl making everything seem like it was a ruse towards the kids, and that they weren't for it. Wasn't until you really see the attendants in the background, one doing CPR the other on the actual landline did I think "ok, they are actually doing this"

The kids were all fantastic. I think alot of that was straight adlibbing because it's hard to imagine they could have scripted all the broken conversation of disbelief.

I was expecting the gotcha/fukk you/okie dokie and it never came and then to see the body bag. The tension of it all was incredible.

Poor Colin though, breh was going through it. Felt for him like he lost his only friend

Man shyt really be like that. I mean for my pops heard the news on a Friday while I was about to smash some random chick and I went right to the hospital. We was at least able to speak with him one more time but Saturday morning shyt hit the fan and early Sunday morning he was gone

I found out my dad died in a car accident via group chat that all my cousins had together, while i was taking a shyt… none of them nikkas thought to call me until like an hour later.

Still incredible how this entire series is shot on film. Good insight on how they had to hide film through the set to do reloads during the string of events.
