Kendall's already hurt his kids by not caring about their safety in the presence of his father. His brown child was harassed by a guy wearing the shirt of one of the right-wing commentators he has on his network, and he went and let Roman call the presidential election for the neo-Nazi hours later.
Who gives a fukk if Kendall is hurt? He's hurt his whole family time and time again by being a drug-addled loser who cares more about running a shytty right-wing company full of commentators that he's hired to talk shyt about people like his daughter than he's ever been shown to care about his kids or his now ex-wife. Why do Kendall's feelings matter more than any of their feelings?
Because in the real world, that’s how the feelings of women and children are viewed. Especially in those circles lol So the viewer naturally sides with him.
And now that his dad is gone and he’s filling that spot, his feelings take precedence.

I felt sorry for him, we as viewers know he is still the insecure boy from his childhood, now it's been put on public display and he will never live it down.

these dudes are bozo's for real

). My reasoning is that Mad Men had to create greatness off the strength of an ensemble cast and performances. Meanwhile, Succession had the premise that organically gives you the same shyt if you casted correctly. 1960's advertising vs. modern day news conglomerates funded by billionaires. Feels like the actors/tress in Mad Men had to replicate things they never saw, while Succession saw cats portraying more recent white collar maneuvering
