Are they still doing the Survivor Series thing where the champions of each brand meet? Could be Roman vs. Seth or Roman vs. Finn Balor

If Cody is going to be the WrestleMania opponent then they need something compelling for Royal Rumble.

I hope they don’t do that

Greyson Waller being listed in the battle Royal kinda puts away my theory we’re getting a Rock and Waller segment away

But I find it odd how he keeps mentioning the Rock in some shape or form..

He’s either mentioning the rock, commentary mentioning his tweets @ing the rock, and then last night during his segment they had a slide show at the bottom from “fans” and most of the comments were about how the rock keeps dodging him

am I looking too much into this

I forgot Paul vs. Diaz is tonight but that's interesting. SummerSlam vs. one of those big celebrity boxing events and Collision is on also. It's a big night for combat sports.

I was thinking about this, I would like to see a different Royal Rumble winner but wouldn't the person look like a hoe if they don't challenge Roman?

WWE sources spoke with Fightful ahead of Roman Reigns facing Jey Uso at Summerslam, and indicated there were no active plans for Roman Reigns to lose the WWE Universal Champion as of WrestleMania. Sami Zayn, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso weren’t ever heavily planned or scheduled to win the title. When we bluntly asked when Roman Reigns will lose the WWE Undisputed World Championship “whenever Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman say it fukkin’ ends.” So in the event Roman Reigns loses the World Championship, it was said that the two would have heavy input as to who that would be, whether it be tonight, or a year or two down the line.

It's their biggest ratings and overall interest success story in ages. By all accounts, Heyman and Roman are heavily involved in all of the planning that goes into the story so it would make sense to let them cook.

Roman's NOT losing tonight but the match ahould be good. Cody and Brock have high expectations to me, skipping the gimmick means either they're confident in what they're doing or they don't care enough
