They won't do this. But they should drop Tenet off on HBO MAX and charge 50 bucks to watch it. It would start the new service off with a bang.

They're banking on theaters, even with social distancing in play will be opened by then. Considering how many states already are reopening and the time from now to mid-July. I'm quite certain it'll be a go. But like they said, if the theaters are still close then they'll pull out.

But stop and think about this as to WHY they doing this. And John Campea was the one who pointed this out. While all the other MAJOR FILMS have pulled out for this year or pushed back to the fall, TENET would have a COMPLETE MONOPOLY and would be able to be shown on EVERY SCREEN with ZERO COMPETITION. So, if the theaters do reopen, and even with social distancing... they are going to collect a shytload of box office gross, because there's nothing else to watch!

They're not pushing this back. WB already has assured Nolan. Unless there is a bigger and more severe outbreak, Tenet will be the movie of the summer playing basically on all screens.
