campy but fun and i would be down for watching a sequel to it. im usually more into a western that either takes itself more seriously or has a retro feel. anachronism kinda keeps me from being immersed, but after about a half an hour, i got over the modern music and dialog.

I don't know why they just didn't use fictional names instead of names of real people. You could probably make an entire movie about the real life of Stagecoach Mary or Cherokee Bill, but they went the fiction route with the real names

to me he had the best performance .....idris was the top villain but i felt he was trying too hard....Lakeith was just a natural bad ass in this movie....wished they kept him alive for the sequel ....he stole every scene he was in

They used real names to pay homage to the real cowboys. Most people don't know that these cowboys existed. Those that watch the movie will probably google these characters, find out that they're real and then learn about them.I don't know why they just didn't use fictional names instead of names of real people.
