This is alot to digest but its and I'm glad someone took the time to put it together. A mix of Dwele's raw and blunted shyt before he started making formulaic R&B with his last few releases.
CONFESSIONS OF A CURLY MIND presents a 5hr journey into the dope sounds of Dwele. consisting mostly of non-album cuts, unreleased tunes, b-sides, remixes and production work. Dwe is a bit of an all-round musical genius, but with this mix i wanted to highlight the original distinguishable 'sound' that made me fall in love with his work almost 20yrs ago: warm chords, Jay Dee level drum sounds and programming, + creative-ass lyrics & vocal delivery, surrounded by a raw warmth that makes it sound all so easy (it's not, dude just makes it look that way).
