Might get some pushback here, but there's a real sense of mob justice w/ this one that feels disappointing as a black man.
I'm all for punching racists in the face, but when a group of people start kicking them in the head while their down and stealing off on women, it's hard to feel like anyone is actually in the right.
There's some terrible hottakes in there. To paraphrase one, it's something like "white people always say we're violent so let's be violent".
To me, the celebratory tone while the other side is mobilizing and spreading propaganda reminds me of Palestinians dancing in the streets after the Oct 7th attacks. It's quiet now, but the racists are turning the ship around and taking all that anti-immigrant/transgender energy and honing in on black people yet again.
