Rowdy Gaines is a former Olympic swimmer too. He won 3 gold medals at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.

yeah I know, but 1500m is not really her race even though she won gold at the world championships . She just decided two days ago to run it.
She started running the 1500 them moved up to the 5k and 10k.
She always had the speed, but now she also has the stamina to go with it.
She is kind of the reverse Usain Bolt.
