The people who are going to be mad are the people who staked all their hopes and dreams on a Trump presidency. Trump is gonna send carriers over to China and bring all the jobs back in containers! Trump is gonna renegotiate trade deals and make the world pay our taxes! Trump is gonna piss on the NATO treaty! Boy o boy it's gonna be real interesting to see what happens when reality strikes. Trump is gonna have to go into hiding.

I feel bad for these people because your life has to be pretty fukked up to stake all your hopes and dreams on Donald fukking Trump. But that's the price we as a country have to pay for passing on Uncle Bernie

I legit think Trump might resign once the full gravity of all of this hits

Fake a health issue and dip into darkness

I can't wait until the tiger that Trump rode to the White House turns on him.

Trump's inner circle knows damn well that a wall isn't getting built, manufacturing jobs aren't coming back, and Hillary Clinton won't end up in jail. But voters actually want that shyt to happen and they'll be bewildered when it won't. They'll probably blame Democrats for obstructing Trump's genius policy agenda.

Because he's energized a voting base that expects those promises to be kept. If he doesn't do it, those voters won't go away. They'll keep looking for someone who will. Meanwhile, Trump will have to waste time finding policies that will save face with his nativist voters, instead of running the country.

What's most likely to happen is that Trump intentionally proposes border legislation that's so absurd and so stupid, that Democrats and moderates will have no choice but to oppose it. Then he'll say "Look, they obstructed my genius policy agenda" and quietly let the idea die.

But it won't die because the people who actually want it aren't going anywhere.
