I missed the game last night.

I used to live Big 10 country (Indiana) for years...so I always liked when we would win during the ACC-Big 10 challenge.

What happened yesterday?

Poor defense and Cam and Kenny not scoring when a run needs to be stopped. Did not defend the three nor post at a level consistent with being a ranked team. But they were in the home gym of a ranked team. And a very good one indeed. Michigan blew out Nova and is undefeated. Hoping these tough games early will build resolve and let them know they have to work and compete harder. Time will tell though.

The subs, Roy going way into his bench. Had a 10 pt lead and Roy had 5 subs in at one time Killed repeatedly on backdoors... wings overplaying. Killed on pick and roll. Seniors didn't show... I could go on. Roy not using timeouts to stop or slow down runs.

That was a horrible performance. Look, we can criticize Roy if you'd like, but I tend to trust the expertise of one of the best coaches to ever do it. The starters sans Coby did not show up. Maye has turned himself into a legendary Tar Heel, and he is a great player, but he can't be the best player at a school like Carolina, feel me? Michigan had everything go their way too, especially the suspect officiating.

I agree with everything you typed. Everybody except Coby played shook. I'm glad Roy let the team wear it last night. Hopefully in the long run this will have the same effect that Indiana game had two years ago.

Seniors finally came to play. Last couple of big games they've left Coby out there by himself. All those turnovers and still beat them by 13....pretty damn impressive.

When we get this type of play from our seniors, we can win a NC. Great win.

Nas has to get outta his own head. Roy doing Nas a solid. Teaching him the 2, 3, and 4 to help him be more positionless moving forward. There were a couple of games this year where you can tell he got lost in the game. These last few though, you can see him thinking thru everything. Just play. I swear on one play he picked his dribble up, panicked, and thru a lazy ass pass that got picked off. Also, look at his lower half when he shoots. He's either fading or unset on a lot of his jumpers. Nas just gotta get his mind right. He'll be fine.

Real season started today. Coby looked great. Brooks had a solid game. Kenny been trash all year
Luke should never put the ball on the ground outside of the paint again. He's strictly a screen and pop guy or catch and shoot. Cam should get at least 15 shots per game. That boy Leaky is smooth. I would love to have another solid ball handler in there with Coby and Kenny isn't giving us anything thus far this season. I want to see Coby off the ball some. I hope we beat the shyt out of State on Tuesday.

I don't know what feed you was watching but here in the DC area there was some chick cheering for Pitt that had the most annoying high-pitched voice I have ever heard. It was on every play when Carolina had the ball.

I'm curious if anyone else heard this...
