I spoke with an insider who kinda connected. He told me that they still want to try to get Biden in there. It's not a good look when your ideal chosen nominee is getting booed and can't even excite a crowd. I think Hillary would get slaughtered in November, but hey

If Hillary gets indicted, the nom should be Bernie not Biden. If the establishment skips over the primary runner-up and knights Biden, Bernie voters not showing up at the polls in November won't just be an idle threat.

c/s. That's part of the reason Bernie's still at it. If he gave up months ago and rendered himself a fringe candidate who barely had any support, the Biden white knight candidacy might've worked. Now there's no way the Dems can turn around and just hand it to Biden when you've got a dude right there who fought Hillary all the way to the convention.
