we have a record of everyone who donated. we will definitely have a way to acknowledge people who donate (glowing names, VIP picture below user title..etc). we will add that feature once we upgrade, if we did it now it would just be wiped out by the upgrade

Some other boards I post on usually have a status bar somewhere displaying how much money is raised in percentages towards a certain goal whether it be server costs or new upgrades. Maybe something similar can be implemented here.
