Watched it last night…wasn’t bad wasn’t good. It’s clear Sony has no clue how to do a modern superhero movie, felt very early 2000’s and like an “off brand” comic movie that didn’t have any existing lore to pull from. I didn’t think Carnage was menacing enough and I thought they took the Venom humor too far sometimes. I know Venom isn’t a straight up serious character and I liked the “buddy cop” dynamic at times but the whole rave scene was pretty cringy. Hopefully that post credits scene helps them clean it up a bit.

I had nothing bad to say about this movie. I enjoyed it……

I enjoyed it. It was straight to the point, I could’ve used more carnage tho. But man the mid credit scene was worth the matinee ticket alone.

overall. Not a bad movie but definitely left a lot to be desired.

Saw it today at the theater for my birthday.

Definitely agree we needed more Carnage screen time. But I liked it and it was entertaining just like the first

Just watched @ORDER_66 comedy didn't completely bother me as much as I feared but it not being R definitely hurt Cletus/Carnage and Shriek the most. That prison scene could've been more horror like if they'd be able to go all out more. I enjoyed it tho
