On second thought there have been quiet rumblings that the symbiote might pop up in Infinity War. If they actually play off that this might could be hot.

A movie taking place partly in space and in the recent Action Avengers promo Holland is wearing a lot of motion capture shyt he wasn't while filming Homecoming. I think it is safe to say the writing is on the wall. We getting Spidey in black!

Are the universes separate though?They said Spidey will have his solo films but he is integrated into the MCU now so this venom movie should as well. That animated version on the other handwhy he gotta be animated?

Not necessarily. It's a joint venture. If marvel get Al Pacino himself as jjj then Sony can make a franchise around him.

Do they have rights to Spiderman and all his characters or only some? If that's the case then you basically have two studios doing whatever they want in the Spiderman universe

Hopefully this is the last time I'm in this thread but Sony can do any spider man related thing they want, Mavel has joint rights to spider man only. That's it. If they wanted to do a venom thing they could but Sony still has first rights to it
