History tends to repeat itself... the fall of the Soviet Union was mainly due to their resources being overextended and trying to take over Afghanistan while America and it's friends funded the Afghani's in their fight - in kind China and Russia will more than likely continue to back Iran if this pops off and try to to get their get-back on the U.S..

What happened to co-existing? What gives the US a right to monitor or confiscate anything? If a war happens, Iran will go for Saudi. Saudi and USA as a team sounds weak. Israel will snake anyone.
If Saudi gets touched, (ironic if due to the US), it will become a holy war. They are already proxy beefin through Yemen, in which millions are dying. If it somehow becomes Saudi and USA with Israel against Iran, I’m sure Russia and China will tap in. There is no win.
