There is little incentive for them to, they're willing to sit back and watch the fallout because the US will get all the blame. GCC relationship with the US is based on their mutual desire to weaken Iran and insurances that Israel will leave them alone.

All of this significantly hurts and weakens the US, Israel and Iran, so don't be surprised if they move very slowly to allow this to play more into their favor.

Who, our government? This isn't incompetence, this was planned. I’m convinced Iran would overwhelm us and make it look like Russia versus Ukraine if we put troops on the ground. This would be the first fully capable, operational military we’ve faced since when ? Korea? Maybe World War II? We had serious issues in Iraq and even had to rely on Iranian help, and the Iraqi military offered almost no resistance.

Listening to Netanyahu and Israel has the U.S. Department of Defense acting like everyday Iranians hate their government to the point they want them overthrown for israel? Lmao, you dont see people protesting for a reason. They will take up arms to defend their countrymen themselves. This isn’t Iraq under Saddam, where he was a brutal dictator.
