This country (and this world) is so fukked up that I honestly think the US could completely obliterate Iran (with the use of nuclear weapons even), and there would be no consequences.

There would be consequences. Russia would either give Iran nukes instead of them launching it themselves or they might just use it on Ukraine since they are following Trump's lead.

China would be tougher to read. Japan attacked Pearl because of oil and between Venezuela and Iran, their oil supply is getting strained. I don't think they would give nukes or use them, but giving Iran better anti ship missiles is a possibly and a naval blockade of Taiwan is very possible. Keeping semiconductors from being shipped out would cause more damage to the economy than anything Iran could go in the strait
