You know why she was worried about that?

Because Trump tore up the treaty that had been working up to that point.

Know what she was eager to do?

Re-establish said treaty.

There was no need to militarily strike Iran when diplomacy had already worked. At worse, to get them back to the table her administration had further easing of sanctions in their back pocket.

People are forgetting, she was the sitting VP. She's heard the same intelligence and had the same briefings as everyone else who was told it was a bad idea to invade Iran. There is nothing in this woman's time in congress or the WH that indicates she would have went against any of that.

He failed to re-establish it because the US and Iran couldn't come to terms on international enrichment verification and how far to roll back sanctions.

He campaigned on it and spent over half of his presidency trying to leverage diplomacy. He never threatened or hinted at military action.

Which leads to what I stated above, she had no reason to deviate from diplomacy.

The reality is that Biden pushed for an even stronger deal, reportedly at the urging of Israel and Chuck Schumer. He could have simply re‑entered the JCPOA if he agreed with its original terms. He never really intended on resolving diplomatically, it was always bad faith discussions to satisfy Israel
