the attacking every country in every direction part? yeah and iran's blue water navy and air force *did* lose all capability in days. iran went from attacking military targets, to civilian targets, to threatening every civilian ship in coastal range. shyt they can't even get hezbollah and the houthis on the same page anymore lol...
china and russia never provided help in any significant measure, iran's defense export industry evaporated having their spot taken by south korea of all countries, and the region has been galvanized against them in a way that no conference or exchange would ever accomplish - and that's due to their direct actions not because of attacks
the issue i harped on the most i also stated from the jump - its weak journalism not even being able to cover basics like where an iranian refugee crisis is surging at, why iran targeted oil providers across the region except the one most critical to israel (guess what country and why that's significant), or even the full scope of financial effects which drive the situation on like this because focusing purely on the strait is a distraction in itself.
the second thing i harped on was the fact that every president in history was fine with this level of friction considering that war with iran typically meant entire embassies held hostage, dirty bombs, dead us sailors washing ashore by the hundreds, worldwide simultaneous air jackings, etc. that's been the main horror scenario scaring admins away from an iran war. and nothing even close to that happened. so congress will continue to be passionately indifferent for an exiting president that gave them exactly what many wanted at an objective fraction of the cost.
i don't think you've ever debated those two broad previous points. or anyone here really.
the funniest thing about this thread now is the people that say they hate propaganda while swallowing down their favorite propaganda without breathing. i love some memes like the next man but somehow there's this continuing theme that either country has been negotiating in good faith this
