Yeah, it was an obvious message for what they did. The embassy in Baghdad is pretty important and for Iranian backed fighters and sympathizers to pull those stunts with the type of president in office right now makes it no shock to me they retaliated.

The level of retaliation was the surprising part. Maybe you’re right and IRGC was just the first to blink in this game of chicken. Now they’ve either gotta escalate shyt or fall back.
