Given the same timeframe and contexts, probably. Obama himself is not a big enough factor.

Also why do you think Israel paused escalations with Iran under Biden?

They started the escalation under Biden. They didn't really pause, they steadily escalated. Bombed Iran's embassy in April of 2024 under Biden, did the pager attack and assassinated Nasrallah in September of 2024 under Biden, now they're bombing Tehran under Trump. Israel is a habitual line stepper and no President has the minerals to yank the chain.

President Obama had it right.

President Biden should have went back to JCPOA and further negotiated with Iran from that point. Re-entering the deal in 2021 would have been a sign of good will after Trump’s recklessness in 2020.
