I'm not disagreeing there, but let's be honest here Israel attacking Iran made it a foregone conclusion that both parties would be fully supportive of it after the fact.

Keep in mind that the previous president was opposed to the deal the third previous president cut with Iran (cutting out and enraging Israel, who put the battery in Trump's back to oppose and rip up the deal), and did NOT reinstate the deal once in office. Neither was his deputy inclined to reinstate the deal, calling Iran our number 1 enemy
