Foreign ministers from the six Persian Gulf countries held an extraordinary virtual meeting on Sunday, condemning the Iranian attacks on their nations and saying that they reserved the right to respond to the assault.
“Despite many diplomatic efforts that the Gulf countries exerted to avoid escalation, and despite their confirmation that their territory would not be used to conduct any attack on Iran, the latter still continued to carry out military operations in the Gulf countries, targeting numerous residential and civilian facilities,” the foreign ministers said a statement.
