It's sounds like we getting ready to go boots on the ground soon

People who study this closely have for years have been saying that a US war against Iran would be an even bigger quagmire than Iraq.

In many ways, once we started down this path, the deployment of ground troops was an inevitability.

There’s nothing funny about this situation but I just busted out laughing thinking about the qualifications of this Administration’s Cabinet as this shyt escalates.

Our lives are in the hands of people that manage to blend the worst combination — pure evil and incompetence.

Then I find out Condoleeza Rice was spotted in the White House, and I can’t help but laugh as a coping mechanism. It doesn’t matter what she’s there for - the symbolism is just *chef’s kiss*

This might promise to be the biggest quagmire in U.S history because it mixes gross incompetence with unbelievable hubris and complete Sycophancy.

Damn I missed the usual suspects in here tooting it up for Russia :mjlol: for people that complain about people treating politics like sports you can get these nikkas to defend anything and anybody as long as the US can be involved as the other side :mjlol:

What a load of sanctimonious garbage.
The irony of @Hood Critic putting his life on the line so a bunch of anonymous losers on a dying internet messageboard can call him a brain washed robot as they blindly defend anything and everything that isn’t related to the US like a robot without repercussion is hilarious

...

Think about it logically and with reasonable skepticism. If the lack of drone launches and missile launches are so low and air dominance of the US and Israelis are so dominant, why are gulf states so pissed of at the United States at the damage their war has caused? Why are we now discussing ground troops and an increase of military force instead of decline if your dominance is so absolute? These contradict and points to maybe the news and narrative being put out is not consistent with reality.

...

Because air power has its limitations. US/Israel do have air superiority in Iran, you could see MQ9 drones flying in Shiraz last week, which is evidence that Iranian defense was at least heavily degraded because you don't fly those 8 figure worth drones if the air space is contested. Shiraz is the 6th biggest city in Iran (for comparison, it's Philly in the US).

The West (specifically the US) can't sell wars unless it can market them as clean (unless it's Trump and then it is what it is lol). Air power is how you sell this : hit hard, frequently and from afar so troops aren't in the line of fire and you get to not have too many images of draped coffins.

But the reality is that people are still needed on the ground to make any meaningful changes. Israel against Palestine had air supremacy over a tiny territory and still needed ground troops in Gaza. Russia learned it the hard way in Ukraine as well, they tried to do it the Western way (after the success of its Air Force in Syria) and had to revert to an infantry/artillery centric Soviet style because ultimately, you need people in the field to take land/win wars.

When it comes to Air power, there are two American doctrines, ie Pape v Warden. Pape argues Air power/supremacy is never enough to win while Warden states it's the only way to victory (to make it veeery short :whoa: ). Warden kinda theorized the first Gulf War which did prove him right so modern wars are still influenced by Desert Storm to this day.

So I don't think there is any contradiction here. The issue you raise is probably because we don't know and/or can't make sense to the Trump admin goal and I don't think they know it themselves.

It all feels like Israel/the US got intel that Khamenei had a meeting, noticed other major players also had one at the same time, saw that opportunity and pulled the trigger and here we are.

This administration is incapable of long term plans so that's my theory for now :manny:

Again they have to be getting paid, because I know AI has not reached a level to create bots on that level. So those are real life people, running to a dying board to shyt post every time a major conflict starts with thousands of people dying. They have to be financially motivated, because if not then they are some of the most emotionally and mentally unstable people on the Internet. Disgusting behavior that they would never say in real life, especially to any black people. Imagine running up to some black war vet and telling him he's a brainwashed robot because he's not buying their propaganda. I know some of the vets I grew up with would love to release some tension and built up aggression with a quick 2 piece and stomp out, respectfully

Not surprising to see Bluemaga defending this war and sarcastically attacking posters who oppose it. Once again, they’re basically the same as MAGA, the only difference between them is culture‑war nonsense. If Trump hid his racism better, they’d gladly support him. They’ve supported all his wars and imperialist goals. United states can do no wrong in their eyes, it's why they sat around clapping like seals defending a genocide. Curated sheep.

Y’all say this without any irony. Sometime I feel like I’m living in a bizzaro world. Let’s review the U.S empire adventures abroad just over the last 26 years and its costs in human suffering.

Since 2001, the United States has been involved in wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Libya, Somalia, and related operations as part of the post-9/11 “War on Terror.”

Estimated totals across these conflicts:

U.S. military deaths

• ~7,000

Direct war deaths (all sides including civilians)
• ~900,000

Indirect deaths (famine, disease, destroyed infrastructure caused by war)
• ~3–4 million

People displaced from their homes

• ~38 million

Cost to the United States
• ~$8 trillion total (including long-term veterans care and interest on war borrowing)

Now mind you none of this needed to happen except to satisfy the blood thirst of Israelis and empire Building.

Any sane person who cares about human life, waste of enormous resources and peace would be horrified and be sharply critical of U.S empire.

But not the HL liberal class. They want us to cheer on the war machine as it sets course to another disastrous military campaign in the Middle East. And if you point out that the other super power hasn’t engaged in these destructive and destabilizing actions in the same time period, you are called a “China commie lover” or whatever.

To be pushing non stop propaganda for free is the dirtiest of work

If you were bored you could literally have these people defend anything :mjlol:

Impossible challenge: discuss the failings of Russia/iran/China, etc without mentioning the United States :mjlol:

My general rule of thumb is if you encounter someone unable to complete the challenge they aren’t worth the time you could spend doing something more productive like watching paint dry
