if the US did indeed hit Iran's desalination plant, the level of retardation is beyond comprehension. You give the country that clearly is trying to inflict as much damage as possible to anyone that can be hit the perfect excuse to commit war crimes (by committing war crimes yourself first)

You're right, one of the major casualties of this war that not enough people are talking about is the decades of nuclear proliferation diplomacy that has been flushed down the toilet.
