That's all Wilbon was saying but that 17 page thread had people calling him a c00n and all kinds of other shyt. I dont think half of them even read the piece.
hopefully they did, I highlighted that portion in the OP for that reason.

GS has ran into these problems.
1. It's crazy hard to repeat. They might not be injured but 2 deep playoff runs is exhausting. Mentally it's even harder to keep that edge. You need a psycho level competitor on your squad for that (ala MJ, Kobe). Dray is a psycho competitor but he just don't have the level of game necessary
2. The can't guard Russ or KD. Russ is doing what he wants and KD is silently almost averaging 30 on them.
3. OKC is healthy and relatively fresh. They had a long offseason last year
4. OKC has peaked at the perfect time. Waiters knows his role. Adams is like a stone wall in the paint. Roberson is using his athleticism on O. There defense is on a complete new level. Durant is shuting down 1-4
5. Warriors got cocky. So many lazy passes. They look laxidasical as hell. They got lost in there own sauce.
6. KD and Russ have finally meshed. Everyone knows they are the best 1-2 punch in the L. They just never knew how to play together. Credit to Donavan

Stop. Old ass Swag Antonio went WCF Finals Finals when Timmy and Manu were past their primes and Parker was right at the end of his.:stopitslime:

And we comparing that to GS having a title run where they didn't play one team at full strength...then they back door that with a houston team who laid down and a portland team who only advanced because the clippers top 2 players got hurt...:stopitslime:

Looks like team lightskin not even going to get back to the finals again :scheming:

Only gets harder next year when Barnes bounce and Iggy and Bogut are a year older...:scheming:

Analytics is one tool of many to use.....

But here is the things.....the commentary made it seem like GSW was this absolutely unbeatable juggenaut...when frankly the signs were there that weaknesses could be exploited

The Thunder have been getting more out of their role players than the Warriors...which is the real surprise of the series to me

The Russ-KD combo was a known godzilla
