You really gonna trust Webster when he's not playing for a contract anymore?

And Nene when on the floor with Okafor held the defense together.

Bennett looks like a better Trevor Booker. Hope I'm wrong if they draft him though.

That kinda worries me tbh but Webster seems like a character guy tho. Nene has foot issues and plays too passive at times. We're gonna need to replace Nene and Okafor very soon. I said earlier I'd be willing to trade the pick for the 6th and Ryan Anderson. There's a chance Bennett and/or Len may be there at 6

He have Wall and Beal in our backcourt. They are gonna be the 2 that we build around. I feel like in order to succeed in this league, you need a combination of a big and a small. Somebody that you can throw the ball to and get you buckets. Down the line, Bennett may be that guy. He got Kobe in him. He could be out Bully on the block. I think Porter may be a great player but the 3 isn't that big of a hole. Dallas is offering their 13th pick. Rudy Gobert could be here or Zeller.

I really really hope we dont draft bennett... undersized forward with no defensive ability? and i mean literally no defensive awareness or effort, and with our player development there is no way he improves on that end. he'd be a huge liability, and on top of all of that he doesn't know how / want to pass. this would be a typical ernie selection imo, he's got javale level bball IQ.

otto porter is the right choice if he's on the board, like beal and wall he's skilled enough that our shytty player development won't hinder him.

TBH The Ariza and Webster combo wasn't bad :manny: Ariza is a great defender and a great 3 point shooter when on the floor with Wall. Webster had a career year. Both are only 26/27. I thnk what the Wizards need a star low post player. Nene was suppose to be it but he's always injured and he's already 30. I feel Bennett can be that guy. He's undersized yeah, but he's in the mold of a Barkley. Great face up and can finish with the best of them. He can be that stretch 4 that we need. O at least pick and pop.

His jumper is streaky, @ best. Sure, he shot 36% this past season, but I don't believe he should be relied upon to space the floor.

When he was on the floor with Wall it was up in the 40's. I wouldn't put too much stock into Bennett's defense or lack there of. He'd be in Randy Wittman's dog house if he played like how he did at UNLV. He was there to carry the load offensively. Barkley wasn't much of a defender either. He has that similar build and athleticism. Porter is a safe pick but I don't see star power in him. His upside screams Evan Turner :scusthov: . Everybody wants Porter cause he played a Gtown it seems like :tellmemore: Defense is all about effort. Coming to the Wizards, not only would he not start till maybe 2-3 yrs down the road, he gets the chance of learning from Nene and Okafor...and he's not soft like Seraphin. Bennett will be a guy that gets you Buckets. I don't see what Porter can do in this system. I would love to be wrong tho

If he's available, draft him :manny:

our front court is ecent for the next yr or 2. He would benefit tremendously from playing in a top 5 defense. Good on pick and rolls and one of the best shot blockers ever in D1, it's a no brainer. If he can gives us 14 and 11 with 3blks 3-4 yrs from now, it'll be more than worth it.

By the way, Bennett won't be the pick. The Wizards are going to take the most NBA ready player at the spot they're drafting at, and it's Porter. They've spent literally 2 seasons getting rid of malcontents, low IQ players, jokers, and anyone else they'd have to babysit on and off the court. Bennett needs a babysitter...he needs to be on a team that will coddle him...and that team is NOT the Wizards. They are past that phase...they just want a guy that can play at a high level now.

I think your right. It's case closed

Cavs not picking his bum ass number 1 and the magic will take the best player so he will be there at 3.

If we can't move ariza then porter won't even play his first year

When we draft porter

We should move ariza and singleton with our late 2nd round pick for a big men

But what team is looking to dump a big men with 1 or 2 years left on around 8- 10milly a year?
