I like this. Noel probably won't be there, so I think McLemore's the right pick. Either this, or doin' what @SofaRealDoe suggested, and try to get Ryan Anderson w/ this pick.

why take McLemore when we have Beal who is better at everything? If I'm taking a guard, I want a guard that can play alongside Beal at PG or alongside Wall at SG.

If Porter and Noel are gone I'd look to trade back and draft one of the bigs.

Not sold on Bennett?

(TBH, not sure if I am myself, at least at #3 . Really like his offensive upside, though.)

You don't take tweeners that high. He's not going to be able to do half of his moves in the NBA. Plus his defensive is SO horrible. Horrible.

I really don't want him but he's a classic Grunfeld pick of athleticism, upside, potential... general bullshid.

Perhaps, I'm just seein' the lack of depth we have @ the guard spot, and how McLemore had a higher true shooting %, and plays off the ball even more than Beal (i.e can play next to Beal or Wall), plus we have Webster @ the three, w/ Ariza backin' him up. Then again, Porter's 6'8 barefoot, and fills a need, so I guess it's 3a/3b in this regard, if we can't get Noel, or Ryan Anderson.

So u would have passed on micheal Jordan also?

This is why the wizards will never be shyt

Please do not compare McLemore to MJ

McLemore is a one trick pony, he comes off screens, he disappears for stretches, he has no handles, and he isn't explosive either.

Oladipo would be the best available player at 3 if Porter/Noel are gone. He's another SG who can't handle the rock but I'd take him just cause he has intangibles, defense, athleticism, IQ to help any team.

We don't need an SG... we need the best big or wing available, period.

My point is that you DON'T WANT the best player in the draft. You clearly already said the draft has nothing to do with talent or winning game. You said the draft is only about filling open roster spots

the best player in the draft isn't McLemore

It's Noel when he is healthy.

Then after that, it is probably Porter.

I think CJ McCollum is better than McLemore. If I wanted a guard, I'd take him.

McLemore ain't shid. I'm telling you, he ISN'T GOOD. He'd be a 15 minute bench player here. He doesn't have handles to run the point and play another 10 minutes there.

Beal is way ahead of that nikka.

What does beal have to do about who we draft. You want the best player or who ever u left at a Postion of need :umad:

Beal would be the best player in this draft. And guess what? WE HAVE HIM. AND HE IS YOUNGER THAN MCLEMORE :win:

I want Beal playing 30-35 minutes a night. Why would you draft a kid who isn't even as good as Beal and take his minutes away?

Beal's handles aren't good enough to play both of them together. McLemore's handles aren't good either.

Yeah we need a third guard but it has to be a lead guard who can play both positions efficiently off the bench.

McLemore on the Wizards would be stupid. Beal is basically a better version of dude.

Otto is the only pick that is acceptable.
