the question is why he'd even be there this season.

I mean, da fact he ain't been fired YET, tells me he'll be there in October. Maybe it's 'cause the team wasn't healthy all season. Regardless, Grunfield and Wittman need to take dey punk asses ON

The Wizards would be fools to draft Oladipo unless it was to trade him for a player that could help them immediately. They are probably taking Porter but if they had the cajones they would pick Bennett and hopes he reaches his ceiling.

let's pause all the draft speculation for a minute and talk about the coaching situation.

....

i really dont know shyt about it, how long is randy expected to stay/how soon can we get a better coach in here, and who would that be?

Wittman and Grunfeld signed two year contracts in April of last year. They are tied at the hip. This is their make or break season coming up. If they don't reach the postseason, they will be let go.

The players love Randy though.

exactly. He won't be able to defend SFs in the NBA or PFs... he does have some nice offensive moves but that's where it ends.

Just look at Derrick Williams in Minnesota and how hyped he was 2 years ago.

He's not a tweener. The problem is that he plays the exact same position as Kevin Love. Having a backup PF on this team is like being Andrew Luck's backup.

and FWIW, Derrick as a starting PF when you give him 30 min or more can produce 17 and 8.

Ok, I'm startin' to see the light :blessed:
@Mr swag, I , ur original list was correct, my bad for changin' it. Orlando and Cleveland will sign McLemore and Noel, so I'm now on the Oladipo wagon. We have Webster and Singleton @ the 3, should re-sign Martell, maybe Ariza, if it's affordable and reasonable, and develop Chris better. Oladipo has the higher ceiling, while potentially bein' the combo guard off the bench, w/o sacrificin' defense, and he's been improvin'. With all that said tho, I'd bet any amount of money this team'll draft Porter :beli:

Always go BPA. That's how bad teams stay bad

Let me help you out since you all over the place. What the Wizards and any team needs is this man.
Victor Oladipo 2013 NBA Draft Workout - Projected Top 5 Pick - Indiana Hoosiers - YouTube
He is the next Michael Jordan. And if he doesn't live up to that, he'll still be good enough to be a hall of famer. The Wizards NEED a backup guard more than any other position. At small forward they have Webster/Ariza/Singleton

fukk having A.J.Price for another year and Garret Temple isn't going to be that SPARK the bench needs. They need a James Harden type player for the bench. Olidipo can be that, and possibly more. If he's there, we take him OVER Porter. And I'm a Georgetown fan when I'm not out in the cali kickin it with the homies :suge:

:noah: this is what we need brehs.

wall beal and oladipo when we want to go small would be so :demonic: i love it :takedat:

Draft for talent, trade for need. I REALLY hope McLemore's there, hopin' Orlando chooses some1 else, but as long as management doesn't listen to Wall and Beal and fukkIN' DRAFT BENNETT :demonic:

Ok, so what happened w/ the 2011 draft? Is it just bad in hindsight, or who were y'all hopin' we'd pick @ the time? How much of their respective bust labels are management to be blamed for?

I wanted us to settle on Leonard.

Pretty much anyone but Vesely but I knew management had a fetish for him and locked in on him. :damn:

coming out he said he was a SF and everyone knew he had the skill set of a PF
