let's pause all the draft speculation for a minute and talk about the coaching situation.
....
i really dont know shyt about it, how long is randy expected to stay/how soon can we get a better coach in here, and who would that be?
I love Randy Wittdog as a Coach, but I don't know if its even his job to develop players. I think that takes a TEAM of coaches. Sam Cassell for instance works with the Guards and the results have been promising. What we need is a BIG MAN coach. We have a solid one in Nene but it isn't his responsibity to develop full time. But young bigs will learn from him. If we can find a full timer? I like our future with Randy or whoever. Stan Van Gundy still out there
He's not a tweener. The problem is that he plays the exact same position as Kevin Love. Having a backup PF on this team is like being Andrew Luck's backup.

and FWIW, Derrick as a starting PF when you give him 30 min or more can produce 17 and 8.
Those are Andray Blatche numbers :hula:
I wanted us to settle on Leonard.

Pretty much anyone but Vesely but I knew management had a fetish for him and locked in on him. :damn:
No matter what player we get, unless they are self motivated? they will struggle here. If singleton went to S.A. he'd be considered one of the best players in the league. Singleton still has a bright future in this league, and hopefully on this team.
Oladipo refused to work out for the Wizards.
He "declined" to workout for the wizards at Verizon center but said they can come anytime and he'll workout for them in Bowie which is about 40mins away.

i like stan :ehh:

What kinda coach is he, offensive or defensive-oriented? Can he illustrate a half-court offense w/ Wall, and/or what kinda team would be best suited to his strengths, I.e. Orlando for instance? His work @ Disneyworld was impressive, the defense they played, and how they played inside-out, but only so many teams are equipped like that
