Snyder vision, in his movie they was peak human but graphic novel they are just regular people. Snyder likes that stylised action where even regular people are performing Super feats. The most super feat in the graphic novel (exclusing Dr Manhattan) was Oz catching the bullet. And even then they was all perplexed and surprised he managed to do it as was he as he had only theorised it.
