Glad to see a real director and visionary that’s not afraid to take risk
All this and we not gonna even need an extended cut or directors cut to improve or make it better in the end. They doing it right the first time

I remember from the previews they showed that scene of a guy in a suit walking the streets of what I thought was a carnival.... who picks up a mask and has a blue hand, so I thought this was the ep they was gonna finally show Dr. Manhattan.
They probably gonna keep that in the pocket for like the last ep or 2, but I can’t wait to see that. They doing a great job building the suspense

The sheriff was strung up by Will and was down with the Rorschach crew. That means lady t is also against them. And who else would be against them? Ozy. And since she’s the only one who could have that money to have a satellite out there, she, and will, are on his side
that still leaves dr Manhattan. But I can’t believe he’d kill Rorschach then side with his crew and the senator. Seems they are the bad guys in this.
then again will does the tick tock thing. So could they all be together? Or was he saying it as a troll because they’re his enemy

It actually makes perfect sense. Dr. Manhattan indiscriminately killing millions around the globe does serve to unite the world. Uniting to fight apparent invading aliens works for as long as it takes until it seems said invaders have been defeated. A god raining down hell as two superpowers are on the brink of mutually assured destruction plays towards fear being a united force and also a somewhat religious morality. "God is punishing us", can serve to accomplish a more lasting peace. God can choose to punish us whenever he feels we get out of line. That's why the squid showers in the show make so much sense. It's a prolonged reminder of the "alien threat". Moore's ending was perfect, but Snyder's ending definitely works.

Dr Manhattan was coded as American. Destroying NY would be seen as America turning on itself. And weakened. More like Civil War 2.

Dr. Manhattan was framed as having caused his own friends/countryman to get cancer merely by his existence. His angry reaction and, relocating to Mars directly after, severed any link to being merely an American weapon. Veidt orchestrates the fake Dr. Manhattan attacks on the globe and the rest is history. Even if that didn't happen, Veidt's attacks happened worldwide, so how would it be a second Civil War?

He went straight by the novel outside of the squid.
Even this shyt didn't show how the squid wrecked shop. But it was good. Snyder used a more realistic scenario which I had no problem with. He Coulda tried to pull off the squid though
