It's going to be the modern day NFL logic.

-If you go for it and fail to convert, you can still get another TD and tied it if you convert on that two point conversion.
-If you go for it and convert, you can go ahead on the next TD with the XP.


That's the logic. Not saying I like it, but that is the thought process.

I wouldnt do it against a defense like seattle...

why did jags go for 2 ?

Philosophy is if you're down 2 scores late you go for 2 on the first try :

- if you get it you can win with a TD + 1 on the second score you need
- if you don't get it you can try again on the second score you need

Juice is worth the squeeze to be able to win with an extra point in their eyes.
