I had a hunch the Steelers would be good this season, like back in August this crossed my mind...
Think about this, they will win this division going away. They are gonna have a chance at the 1-seed.
You get into the playoffs with the best Steelers team in years; with a determined Canton QB on his last hurrah; a head coach with motivation to prove the naysayers wrong; and the potential for multiple home playoff games...
Do not be surprised if the Steelers are in the AFC Championship; do not be surprised if they are hosting that game!
This is a really good football team and a throwback version of the Steelers heydays of the 00s and 70s. Strong running game, heady quarterback play, a legit #1 receiver with other solid weapons, and a defense that is violent and stout.
You watch all these Monday shows and articles, nobody puts the Steelers in their Top 5 teams, but they to this point have proven to be one of the best teams in football. Long way to go but at this point look at the rest of the AFC, they are as good as anyone else in the conference.
If the Steelers win the whole thing and Rodgers and Tomlin both retire after, I'm just saying, this is not outta the realm of possibility!
