one thing that scene did is show how Stern was more involved in moving the NBA in a direction of expansion from showcasing star personalities, to TV exposure, and obviously the global markets too.

He had big ideas for the NBA

Funny part is she ain't even that old IRL and HBO did a good job on her makeup cause Gaby Hoffman ain't no looker.



and the real Claire is still alive at 93 and she was able to view an early script of the season's first episode, and did not approve of the show's portrayal of herself and Jerry Buss.
