Wait, am I supposed to believe that Angel Reese is a good basketball player?
Yeah, she's an elite rebounder and can play OK defense. Outside of that, she's putrid. She will have an occasional good game, but she needs to significantly improve her game.

It was definitely during the DD streak, I payed close attention to the treatment Angel was gonna receive from the first game, it was cool until that streak gained legs and she became the focus of the W. Her success was wasn’t part of the W’s plan to highlight CC’s greatness. Spoon favored her also, and we see what happened with her, and their team as a whole. It’s no coincidence that Marsh isn’t favoring her, nor is it a coincidence that the Sky blew the draft and signed no stars, while the Fever stacked up in the off season. It’s no coincidence that the Sky regressed horribly. Call me a conspirator but something isn’t adding up, and it has nothing to do with Angel bad shooting since the season started.
The league did not favor Clark until after the Olympic break when that team started to click. They were still favoring the old guard + Stewie/Aja over the Super Rookies that got brought in. It's been stated by some that the early guantlet schedule for the Fever last season was put together to capatalize off her ASAP because they thought she wasn't gonna live up to the hype.
Angel's hate started because she said people weren't just watching the game just because of one person (which is true), clapping on the bench when Chennedy shoved (overblown), and social media meming her streak and the "mebounds" (which is just her shot mechanics under the hoop needing work mixed with her generational rebounding ability lol).
I can't speak to stuff this season because I'm not on socials as much plus it seems like she gets plent of publicity from the league but not the same as Aja or Clark tho.
