It's over

The lesser players are just gonna go overseas or Unrivaled is gonna expand. Or Nike will start a touring league with Clark and Aja or some shyt. But that's short term. Problem for the league is this rapid expansion. They're still not making a profit yet but it's getting there. A lockout/work stoppage may be detrimental like the MLB in the 90s. I don't know if they can recover either.

Both sides need each because the WNBA still has the best infrastructure for American basketball. The owners are still probably looking at the bottom line and not offering the revenue sharing the player want. I think that's what it's all coming down.

They say Clark is gonna be apart of negotiations Thursday but just cause they've valued her at worth "a billion" to the league in some analyst it doesn't matter cause like I said this Clark wave may not last for ever and CBAs are negotiated for years and beyond.

The W without the players is actually garbage lol

No one is gonna pay to see some Div 2 chicks miss layups all god damn night with high-school level refs

Unlike every other sports league, there really isn't history/culture for W teams. If I'm an executive at ESPN/ABC/etc., I could give less of a fukk what Cathy Engelbert is saying to me and I'm gonna listen to Phee/Stewie are talking about :hubie:

:mjpls:CITRON HAS BEEN BETTER
THEN CLARK AND RHYNE HOWARD.

SHE DEFINITELY DESERVED
TO BE AN ALL STAR

No she didn't...a rookie who isn't the best player on a .500 team doesn't deserve to be an all star...I don't think she's better than Sykes or Austin

I've been adamant Bri Jones deserved to be an all star...McBride should've been automatically named over Sonia too

So I got Sykes, McBride, Bri Jones, Hamby, and Stevens all over Sonia and Kiki

AND MCBRIDE GETTING SPOTS
OVER CLARK AND RHYNE.

:mjpls:LETS SEE WHAT YOU COME
UP WITH NOW

LMAO @ AUSTIN...
TAKES JUST AS MANY SHOTS,
BUT AVERAGES LESS POINTS
AND ONLY GETS
1.5 MORE REBOUNDS THAN
A ROOKIE GUARD.

STOP GASSING THAT BROAD

Stabler was always gonna be an all star, so stop living in that fantasy world where she wouldn't be one

The 2 biggest shocks of all the all star selections were Sonia and Kiki

Austin is a better player than Sonia today!

The problem is the NBA is still a majority owner percentage wise of the league and have been subsidizing it for years. Like I said all this comes down to revenue sharing percentage which the owners of the teams haven't really seen a return on investment to change greatly. They could continue to subsidize any profit loss to get them paid more and more piece of the pie but they're in a stronger position there than the players.

The players deserve more but the situation the league was in prior to this explosion with the Aces/Liberty rivalry leading into Clark/Reese/Paige is what's keeping these negotiations tough.
