You need shooters in the WNBA too. Rivers won't be guarded outside and defenses will dare her to shoot. That's making it harder on Angel and Cardoso to operate.

If you have Barker and Paopao (not saying she's the pick but any capable shooter) on the floor they have to cover them. You're not giving them uncontested 3's. The spacing they create is what you need for the post game to flourish.

When Chicargo had the 3rd pick, I said Citron or Azzi...now I look like negrodamus bc Citron will be a top 4 pick this yr and Azzi would be this yr if she declared

Anybody that takes Paopao over Rivers needs their head examined

We get 2 picks in the first round, if Rivers is there you gotta take her and put her with a shooting coach...the other pick should be Barker

You're talking about the player while ignoring the fit. Rivers isn't a good fit for Chicago. She'd be better off on a team that already has shooters or a bad team that can wait on her to develop.

Chicago's GM already said he's prioritizing shooters so unless the shooters are off the board he's not looking at Rivers.
